Liberty Logo Tee [Lime]

Liberty Logoは、Allenwoodが過去に制作した、自由の女神グラフィックの、冠の部分を切り取って生まれました。女神の曲線に沿って "Allenwood" を配したロゴ——そこだけを切り取ってみたら、これが妙によかった。以来、ブランドを代表する一枚として愛されてきたグラフィックです。

NYは、Creative Director daichiのルーツのひとつ。Liberty Logoは、ニューヨークの一片であり、Allenwoodの物語の一片でもあります。

そして今季、この人気グラフィックを、はじめてTシャツに。コレクションの多くが海の青をまとう中で、この一枚は"ビーチの外の夏"を担います。Ivoryに乗せた青は、渇いた喉に染みる、冷たい一杯のようなイメージ。Smokey Redは、炭火がはぜるBBQの色。Limeは、木漏れ日に透ける夏の葉の、レモンを搾ったような黄緑。どれも、海だけじゃない、いつもの夏の色です。

The Liberty Logo is that arched "Allenwood" wordmark, lifted from the crown of our Statue of Liberty graphic. We cropped it down to just that piece — and somehow, it just worked. It's since become one of the graphics Allenwood is known best for.

New York is one of the roots that shaped our Creative Director, daichi — so this logo is a piece of New York, and a piece of our story.

This summer, it lands on a tee for the first time. Most of the collection wears the blue of the sea — the West Coast, the Mediterranean — but this one is for the summer beyond the beach. The blue on the Ivory is the blue of a cold drink on a hot day; Smokey Red, the glow of a backyard BBQ; Lime, summer leaves lit yellow-green through the trees, with a squeeze of lemon. The colors of an everyday summer, away from the water.
